Frequently Asked Questions
It can be polished to a mirror finish, with a maximum mirror effect of 8K. However, different materials and surfaces may require pretreatment, such as die-cast parts.
The number of parts that can be polished depends on the size of the product being polished. For products with a diameter of 8cm or less, 512 parts can be polished at once. For smaller parts, the maximum number that can be polished at once is currently around 2000. Theoretically, any product that can fit in the polishing tank can be polished. The current sizes of the polishing tanks are 1500*200*200mm/726*200*200mm/1300*250*250mm/1300*180*160mm. Furthermore, the size of the grid can be adjusted according to requirements.
The cost mainly consists of three parts: electricity, consumables, and operator labor. The motor is primarily 18-22 kW/h. Consumables cost 15 CNY/KG; each refill lasts for six months, requiring 200-400KG (different models have different sizes).
It can polish most metals, such as stainless steel, copper, zinc alloys, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, etc. It can also polish non-metals, such as resin, ceramics, jade, etc.
It’s very simple; our trained workers can learn it in just a few hours.
Our equipment can be divided into dry polishing and wet polishing. Dry polishing is environmentally friendly; although it produces a small amount of dust, we can equip it with a vacuum cleaner to perfectly solve the dust problem. Wet polishing, on the other hand, produces a small amount of wastewater, and some regions may require environmental certifications.
When you purchase the equipment, we will give you six months’ worth of consumables, which you can also purchase from us afterwards. Consumables include plant-based abrasive (crushed walnut shells/almond kernels), coarse polishing oil, and fine polishing oil.
This is the biggest difference between our equipment and manual polishing. The fine abrasive particles can effectively polish curved parts, areas that cannot be handled by manual polishing.
Our equipment is primarily designed for the final mirror polishing step and some less demanding pre-treatment processes. However, some tasks still require manual labor, such as the die-casting machine’s mold-closing line and weld scar grinding. Therefore, it cannot completely replace manual labor.
We offer one year of free after-sales service, but service details may vary by region. After purchasing the equipment, we can arrange for technicians to visit the customer’s company for equipment installation and operator training.
